Privacy Policy

Updated October 28, 2026. Scripture Feed is published by Inova Platforms, Inc.

The short version

There is no account and no advertising inside the app. Your Bible notes, favorites, reading progress and study history stay on your device. We use Superwall to present subscription offers and understand how those offers work. Our advertising-measurement update asks for your permission before sharing identifiable app and subscription events with Meta. Earlier versions that do not ask for this permission do not enable that sharing.

What stays on your device

Your favorite verses, bookmarks, notes, reading-plan progress, streak, settings and study history are stored only on your iPhone. We never receive them and cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

Apple processes subscription payments through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account. The app and Superwall process subscription status and purchase history to unlock Premium, restore purchases and measure subscription performance.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the daily verse and trial reminders are scheduled locally on your device. During your first two days we may also send a few reminders and offers, which you agree to when you allow notifications and can turn off at any time in Settings or in iOS Settings. They are created by the app on your device, we do not use a push server, and no notification data is sent to us.

AI-assisted study notes

On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, some verse studies may be generated on your device. That generation runs locally and the text is not sent to us or to any third party.

Subscription analytics

Superwall provides our subscription paywalls and subscription analytics. It processes a pseudonymous app-user identifier, device/vendor identifier, app and operating-system version, device information, purchase history, and interactions with subscription offers for app functionality and analytics. We also send whether notifications are on, an anonymous test-group letter used to compare reminder schedules, and whether onboarding was completed. We do not send your notes, Bible searches, favorite verses, reading history or religious beliefs to Superwall. See Superwall’s privacy policy.

Advertising measurement and your choice

We buy ads outside the app to help people discover Scripture Feed. Apple’s SKAdNetwork provides privacy-preserving, aggregated install and conversion measurement without identifying you to us. In versions with our measurement update, iOS asks whether you allow tracking. If you allow it, Meta receives your Apple advertising identifier and a pseudonymous app identifier, app and operating-system information, app activation, onboarding completion, paywall and checkout activity, and verified subscription events such as trial starts, paid purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds. These signals help measure and improve our advertising. We do not send Meta your Bible notes, searches, favorite verses, reading history or religious preferences, and we do not collect your name, email or phone number for ad matching.

If you decline or tracking is restricted, we do not initialize Meta’s event collection or forward your identifiable subscription events to Meta. Apple’s anonymous aggregate attribution and Superwall’s subscription functionality and analytics remain available. You can change your choice in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; the app applies changes when next opened. See Meta’s privacy policy.

Content sources

Cross-reference data is from openbible.info (CC-BY). Hebrew and Greek word data is from STEP Bible (stepbible.org, CC BY 4.0). Bible texts used are in the public domain. In version 1.1.3 and later, when you open a verse study the app downloads that chapter’s study notes from this website; the request carries no account or personal data.

Children

Scripture Feed does not ask children to create an account or provide personal information. Subscription purchases require authorization through Apple. Contact us with questions about information processed by our subscription provider.
